Tony Jones, UK. In BBC’s “Is Space Exploration a Waste of Money”. 9 Dec. 1999 – the real reason for exploration of Mars is that one day, when the earth is over-populated and can no longer support us, Mars will.
“Space exploration is not a waste of money”. Science Ray. Sep. 30th, 2007 – Space exploration is not a waste of money because it is the place to turn to for colonization. After many years, earth might not be able to accommodate the human race, but mars will. People want to find out about mars, and if it will be safe to travel there. If colonization is available on Mars then all the space exploration will be worth it. Would you rather die of overheating or overcrowding to death or would you rather plan early to avoid this situation? I think the answer is obvious.
