President Obama said about his decision not to release the photos: “That’s not who we are. We don’t trot this stuff out as trophies.”[1]

Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, said he was concerned that the photos could be viewed abroad as a “trophy” that inflames U.S. critics and makes it harder for members of the American military deployed overseas to do their job.[2]
