Helen Van Gassen. “The Case Against Animal Testing”. Helium – “In my opinion the Cancer Society raises money for further research not in the hope of finding a cure but in the reality of providing more lucrative jobs for researchers. I can’t believe that a cure has not been found years ago and over the past 30 years I have kept every newspaper clipping and article on cancer research and every one of them ends with ‘further research is required’. From time to time an article appears purporting to have isolated a certain type of cancer but nothing more is ever heard about it.”
