October 19, 2007 – “where students have access to the internet, many schools are now making assistance with assignments or extra tutoring available on-line. This help, delivered when and where needed, can make an enormous difference to the confidence with which a student can approach a subject and that contributes directly to the liklihood of success. In sum, technology can and does provide significant improvements in the quality of education, but only if it is adapted thoughtfully to the educational environment.”
